In this build, we intend to design and execute a bicycle from scratch with help from volunteers who might or might not have any idea about design and engineering!
The rules are simple. Form follows function.
1. Heavy emphasis on ergonomics.
2. Redefine the drive train.
3. Redefine the aesthetics of a bicycle.
4. Explore the use of unorthodox materials.
5. The bike has to be practical and functional for real world application.
Other than this, let your imagination go wild!
We will start with a meet and greet and a basic brainstorming session followed by the appointment of the core team and designation of specific tasks. We will meet from time-to-time thereon to assess and execute the project.
This will be an on-going project and the time-line will depend on the finalised design.
