Event Description

Cycle Mumbai Cycle ... to NCPA n back
Ppl where many of the rides have been curtailed to particular area, we all would like to do a ride which would encompass all people from all over Mumbai. So we have decided to traverse the Length of the Mumbai, culminating to NCPA. and back to our respective areas. So people pool in your RSVPs and positions so as to join into the main ride. It will be like many tribulets joining in, to form a BIG River and enjoying the force of the same. It is a dream, but it can be made into reality by all the respective groups participating and riding in whatever numbers they can manage. Also cyclist Amit Narsana has arranged a sumptous breakfast at Hindu Gymkhanna for all members, for a nominal charge (Max Rs 100/-).

And on behalf of the Chembur gang who I tried to co-ordinate, thanks again to Sunil, Vishal, et al, for waiting for us to join the Mahim group, despite us being about 15 minutes behind the scheduled 6am target !

A BIG THANKS To ALL FELLOW CYCLISTS.

To all those who have responded with a YES and even to all those who have responded with a NO.

SO THE "CYCLE MUMBAI CYCLE....." is happening as PLANNED.

People, shall surely appreciate if you follow certain instructions during the ride as given below

Please START the ride only on the cue from the Organisers
Please ride together, if possible in a formation which would show the cyclists strength. if Possible in pairs.
Please only halt at planned Halts (only 1 Halt at Ataria Mall from Mahim Church is planned)
Please inform Amit Narsana (Mbl 9819809199 by SMS ) if you shall be partaking Breakfast at Hindu Gym with your Name, so he can arrange for the same, and pay up the Damages to him, before you leave.
Please follow the route as planned.
If you have any queries, please call before the ride, as it would be difficult to answer calls whilst riding.

like the image below ... say our token protest against recent press misinformation on cycling and heart-attacks...wotsay ? I have in the past laser printed such stuff (mirror image) on OHP sheets and pinned it on my t-shirt... any takers ? any thoughts ? besides the jalebis of course :-)
