Revas- Revdanda- Korlai on 19 Nov 2011 to 20 Nov 20011

This Cycling ride is fun ride for cycling enthusiast and beginners to enjoy the joy of cycling along a serene landscape to explore Korlai beach and Fort. The Route is mainly plane roads with less vehicle activity. So grab the opportunity to relive those care free Cycling days of childhood.

Cycling is a great fun activity that is especially enjoyed by everyone of every age. It is a fantastic workout that not only enables you to derive pleasure, but also goes a long way in ensuring your overall fitness. The best part about this sporting activity is that, you find cycling a delightful experience, without even realizing that it has done good to your body. When you like pursuing a particular activity, then carrying it out doesn't appear cumbersome to you.

Cycling is one of the most effective exercises to shed off those extra calories and get rid of flabby abs. Even a small amount of cycling would be good enough to boost your metabolism level, thereby fastening your weight loss program. It helps to improve the overall balance and coordination. Not only it paves a way for maintaining health and fitness, but also for leading a healthy peaceful life. So, cycle off your weight and tensions and lead a happy fit eco friendly lifestyle.

07:00am to 7:30am- Report at Bhaucha Dhakka with your cycles.
08:00 am- Take a ferry ride to Revas.
10:30 am- After having break fast at Revas, we start our cycle ride for the day
Revas via Revdanda to Korlai approx 40 km.
12:30 pm to 01:30 pm- Lunch at Alibaug.
04:30 pm- Reach Korlai. Halt at the Korlai Village for the night stay and
05:00 pm to 07:00pm- Explore the Korlai Beach.
09:00 pm- Dinner.

20 Nov 2011

06:00 am- Wake up call.
07:00am to 09:00 am- Trek to Korlai Fort.
09:00am to 10:00am- Break fast.
10:00 am- Start the cycle ride for the day back to Revas approx 40 kms.
12:30pm to 1:30 pm- Halt at Alibaug for Lunch.
04:00 pm- Reach Revas and take a ferry ride to Bhaucha Dhakka.
06:00 pm- Bhaucha Dhakka.

Expenses- Rs 450/-
Cost includes- ( Ferry ride fare to and fro+ cycle charge, Break fast on 2nd
day, Dinner at Korlai, Lodging at Korlai, Cycling Expertise)

You are requested to get your own Cycles, which are well maintained and serviced to avoid any breakdowns. En route there are Cycle garages which are accessible . We will be carrying with us basic cycling repair kit too.

Points to note:
Kindly get well maintained and serviced cycles. Cycling Helmet for your own safety. Carrier or bands to lode your bag on the cycle.
Kindly carry light weight back packs as you will have to carry your own bags while cycling.
Additional snacks and Water as per your need.

Things to carry:

1. Food & Water (Mandatory).
2. Cap / Gog.(optional)
3. Extra pair of clothes.(Warm clothes coz of cold weather)
4. Sleeping bag/ sleeping mat, Blanket (Mandatory)
5. Sweater/jacket/Full T shirts Compulsionn
6. Good footwear.(Mandatory)
7. Slippers or floaters (just to relax your feet befor & after the trek) (optional)
8. Personal small medical kit. (if u require usually/Optional)
9. Electral/Tang powder.
10. Torch with extra Batteries.
11. Locks for your Cycles.

I have done the same route before. Seems you are having lunch of both days at Alibaug. If possible, try to have one lunch at Revdanda. There is one Khanawal in Revdanda called as Tambadkar Khanawal. They give 80 Rs Thali. Amazing Fish!

I won't be able to join as I am going to Pune. Enjoy guys.
