We would like to share about our upcoming campaign for world environment day " CYCLE TO RECYCLE"
To make recycling a bigger reality, for this world environment day we wish to inspire Mumbaikars to come out on a sunday and do their bit for HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT.
CYCLE TO RECYCLE is an idea to give Mumbaikars a place to bring their sporting and green spirit and cycle together for a cause...to start recycling their waste and reduce the load on landfill.
About the campaign:
Day : 3rd June, Sunday
Time: Assemble 7 45am ; Kick off 8.00am from Worli Dairy
Kick off at 8 am a) Introductory note on go green and route plan n road discipline ( 5 min)
b) Green Pledge by all cyclists ( 5 min)
c) Celebrity to flag off rally ( 5 min)
Cycle Route Plan : ( Total 8 Km)
Route 1 - Worli Dairy – Hotel Blue Sea – Century Prabhadevi – Siddhivinayak – Sahakari Bhandar Agar Bazaar. : 8 to 845 am
Route 2 – Sahakari Bhandar Agar Bazaar – Cadell Road – Shivaji Park Gymkhana – Sena Bhavan – Plaza – Dadar TT – King circle – Sahakari Bhandar Matunga : 9 to 9 45 am.
On route, we will make two stops to collect empty recyclable waste
Green Carnival at Sahakari Bhandar , Matunga: 10 am to 10 30am.
We will have a special van following the Cycle to Recycle group on route to collect empty Tetra Pak cartons for recycling!
We have special experienced tour guides from a group Reality Tours and Travels to help cyclists group move smoothly. This group offers bicycle tour in Mumbai as well as many other tours. 80% of the profits from all the tours go towards the activities of the NGO Reality Gives in Dharavi towards education and development of the community.
All participating cyclists will be given special kit including tshirt, cap, hand towel and recycle notebook. Also water
and drink will be provided.

Participants must pre register for the rally. We can have registrations from May 26th to May 31st.
