[Map to be changed - route would go straight on NH17 from Kudal to Sawantwadi and Banda and cross over into Goa.]

Update 2: It's cold out there... Riding in the night therefore holds an additional challenge... dress accordingly / come prepared...

most riders will be doing this stretch in the late evening... the Vengurla route is lonely, convoluted and offers lots of opportunities for taking the wrong turn and getting lost... the Sawantwadi alternative is much better (simple and straight on the NH17) although the Sawantwadi-Banda stretch has a bad patch (construction in progress) of about 3 kms..
