                                      आहात का तयार 3 nov 2012 to 10 nov 2012 एक अविस्मरणीय दिवाळी साझारी करूया . महाराष्ट्रला लाभलेला सुमारे ७५० क.म लांबीचाचा समुदकिनारा ,हिरवीगदे झाडी ,लाल माती ,गर्जाणारा दर्या आणि रुपारी वाळू याच लंन लवूने हि किनार्पती आपल्याला साद घालते आहे . चला तर तातला काही (७५०)भाग
पुणे ते गोवा कोकणमार्गे सायकलवर.. Cycling trip starts! Day 01: Cycling trip starts! Lal Mahal (Pune) Paud - Mulshi - Dongarwadi - Tamhini Ghat - Vile - Nijampur – Mangaon (100 kms)

Day 02 : Mangaon (Right in market of Mangaon) - Sai- Morba- Mhasala- jasawali ( to right)- shriwardhan (55 K.M)
Day 03: Shriwardhan to Ladghar (75 kms; 7-8 hrs) with enroute cross over by ferry

Shrivardhan - a beautiful town, famed as the birthplace of the founder of Peshwa dynasty, and further to a place called Bankot. From here, one cycles to the Veshvi jetty and cross over and cycle towards Kelshi. Lunch enroute. We reach Kelshi jetty and board ferry to cross to the other side and continue with our cycling journey to Harnai. and further to our final night halt Ladghar. Overnight camping at Ladghar.

Day 04: Ladghar to Ganpatipule (95 kms; 8-9 hrs)

We start our journey with a small climb to Dabhol; famous for the Enron power project. We reach the jetty and cross over by ferry and further cycle to Guhagar – one of the small idyllic village of Konkan. Lunch enroute. We cycle further to Tavsaal jetty and set sail to Jaigad. From Jaigad, our next halt Ganpatipule and Overnight camping at Ganpatipule

Day 05: Ganpatipule to Madhban (95 kms; 8-9 hrs)

We begin our day with cycling towards Ratnagiri - one of the big cities of Konkan.
From here, we climb a little to Pavas to Adivare phata via Nate and then to Nate jetty. From the jetty, we cross to Jaitapur and then cycle to our halt at Mithgavde. Overnight camping at Madhban.

Day 06: Madhban to Devbaug/ Bhogave (95 kms; 8 – 9 hrs)

Today, we begin our journey with a visit to a historic fort – Vijaydurg after cycling o the jetty and cross over by the ferry. Vijaydurg - this is the oldest fort on Sindhudurg coast constructed in the regime of Raja Bhoj of Shilahara dynasty in 1205 AD. The area of fort is about 17 acres and is surrounded by Arabian sea on its three sides. After exploring the fort, we continue with our challenge and cycle further to Jamsande and to Kunkeshwar. Further cycling through the hamlets we reach Malvan and to Devbaug. From here, we either camp at Devbaug or cross over by ferry and overnight on the other side at Bhogave. Overnight camping at Devbaug/Bhogave.

Day 07: Cycling trip! Bhogave to Tiracol (60 kms, 5 hrs).

we reach Reddi last beach of Maharastra. We visit to the fort at Tiracol. This fort is located on the Goa-Maharashtra border in Redi village. It is situated on a hill near the seashore. The raja of Sawantwadi built Terekhol Fort situated on the northern bank of the Terekhol river. The tranquility of the place is accentuated by the confluence of the serene sea and the river. The fort is now converted into heritage hotel.

Day 08: Tiracol – Panji (Goa 60kms, 5 hrs )
Today is our last day at cycling From here, we board our waiting coach and get transferred to Sawantwadi railway station. Board Konkankanya Express at 19:38 hrs or an AC Volvo coach and travel back to PUNE Overnight in the train / busपुणे ते गोवा कोकणमार्गे सायकलवर.. लवकर च पुढील माहिती पुरवतो येणार असाल तर / अन्भ्व असेल तर मार्गदर्शन करा. 9970709148 /8087681887

Is this event still on? so waht day will the ride end?  also typically how much distance will it be per day? ( i am still in the initial days of cycling)

I m quite interested in this.. I have already done Kokan till Murud Dapoli via Khopoli, Pen, Diveagar etc..
