Indian Cyclists Network

Hi everyone, I am new to biking and after a long long gap since class 11, I wish to start Biking again ( I am 28+ now). I reside in New Delhi and wish to purchase a bike which meets the following requirements:

1. Both wheels should be detachable (So that i can put the bike in my hatchback car)

2. Light weight and easy to ride

3. Low maintenance and comfortable to ride

4. Gears ,shockers & disc brakes are welcome :)

I plan to ride the bike only on weekends and to begin with, for 5-6 km at a time (Can increase this with time). I have shortlisted the FF Target 21Disc since it (apparently) meets the requirements and costs about ~16k. Please suggest whether I should go for the FF or should look for something else! I had also seen rockriders 5.2 & 5.3. The 5.2 dosent let you take the rear wheel off and the 5.3 is beyond my budget. Please help!!!!

Thanks in advance

Thanks Sanat! I am going to enquire about the schwinn (I believe it is european and would be high quality). Any other bikes that would fit in my budget and would cater to my requirement?

Bought FF Target 21 Disk Brakes! It's so much fun to ride a bike :)

ff actually is d best under d conditions u hv mentioned. u cn also look 4 GT Aggressor 2.0. it is an mtb wid tyres having road grooves as well. i hv done mumbai-pune 150km ride using d same. both tyres r detachable from d fork. it costs 16k.

According to your requirements you should go for urban trail Bolt 26 " . Its the best one in your price range. For more details you can check out at www.urbantrailbikes.com
