hi Jitesh:

Great!!! Just be careful. what about returning, I am sure it is difficult, with the evening rush? you must be leaving very early both the ways, is it?  anyway, slowly you will have more and more people / cyclist joining you when they know your timings so it becomes more safer riding in the group.

Hi C2W fellowietes....its good to see that many of us are bumping off cars and bikes for cycles to get to office.

I feel this movement has be well captured by Anil and his efforts are being seen on the road.

I ride daily at 0715 hrs from Thakur Village to Worli, a distance of 27 kms and I do this distance in just an hour. But a pity that i don't see any other soul in that route but I know things are changing and I'm expecting more of us.

Hope somebody is taking care of the following.

Hi -- I'm U.S. author, on assignment for the commute issue of the
U.S. magazine Bicycling. Having visited Mumbai once years ago,
I was deeply impressed to learn that there are bike commuters!
I am coming to Mumbai (week of Car-Free Day/Indibike most likely) and
would like to interview some of you about the challenges of commuting
in rush hour traffic, and go on a few hair-raising commutes, and also
maybe speak to city planners and others pushing for infrastructure.
Thanks! You can reach me directly at maryroach1 @ gmail.com
Look forward to meeting you!

Hi,

I have been cycling to work for past 4 years. I am at Pune and am blessed with good weather most days. My office is 7.5 kms one way. I cycle 3 days a week to work. It was nice to read about the experiences of other member. They are motivating. Hats off to those who cycle 20 kms and more and in Places such as Mumbai.

Cycle is joy.

Cheers!
