17032012 - Kothrud to Paud Gaon (50~55Kms)

The trail is great in terms of middle distance cycling with 3 ghats, particularly Pirangut ghat.

Started @ 5:30 in the morning, reached paud in 1 hr 15 min without any stop, total 3 ghats were there one @ manas resort then the pirangut and another just before paud gaon, rolling down at pirangut ghat was awesome...we reached 50~60 Km/ph speed there.

Coming back was a challenge due to pirangut ghat always in our mind, we started climbing pirangut ghat with a feeling that we will stop and walk where ever we feel like tired, but this did not happened and with a gear ration of 1-1 / 1-2 we continued our paddling and concurred it.

We think that if one really wants to do long distances then this trail will surely help in building stamina and ghat experience.

In this trail, we found out the practice zone for our ambitious LONAVALA trip.

Have nice sun~day ahead!!!

The best routes are the ones you haven't ridden. You could pedal the same loops year after year. Many people do, literally or figuratively. But to grow, you need new rides. Risks. Turn down lanes you've long seen but never traveled. Get lost once or twice, then double back to where you started and try again
Live like this and you come to see unknown territory not as threatening, but as intriguing.
