Hi Friends, I am looking for company to ride in the mornings in this group.

I ride a Schwinn hybrid, and have done rides to Badlapur, Shilphata, Vashi/Navi Mumbai, starting from Ulhasnagar.

I will leave for Sade teen Shakti Peeth tour on 22/10/11 at about 6.30am. You can call it a solo event. As the tour is an extended one that is of about 25 to 30days and it is Diwali season no partners are invited. The details of the tour are posted in a blog on this network. Your suggestions as to the preparation and precautions to be taken are very valuable. Thanks.

one more reason I want to go there is..its a active village for varli paintings.

and I really want to see that live. :)

People !!

I wish to see the One village One Ganpati concept near by us, it must be a different village experience.

Want to see how organising takes place and is there really a united celebration.

read it from times of India article here-

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/mumbai/1-village-1-Lord-Gan...

How about riding to Talasari, Its far about 140km one way...but we will enjoy the whole way together. and form there we can come by other means.

Saturday the 10th should be the best, because if it is really a celebration we should go one day before visarjan

there are multiple routes available and One of them passes through scenic Jawar and vikramgadh.

Am going sure..Lets go in a group, it will be a huge fun long ride with a good destination.

watsay ?

aursirji next time milte hai toh aurbatana, i have no idea about breathing techs...so lets learn

i can call this ride that i did as 'anticipation' ride ;)

thankyou very much for such a confident post on climbs. i will help everyone.

and will work hard for the 'ya baby' stage !

see you soon.

Ya Navin! Good dude! keep it up...and there will be a day not too far when you will be able to do climbs without any stop...gradually can consider Matheran, Singahad etc... although its our body which performs, but eventually its our mind that transmits orders to body to climb every stretch after every turn on climb...we see few meters of uphill road and the sharp turn at the end of that stretch...after taking that turn in the end another up hill stretch opens up...ok we do it, we climbs it, and again after another turn we see same, Oh! this time more elevation and this keeps happening, we feel why the hell a flat stretch is not opening...but we should keep going forward, either taking stops or in continuation...coz climbing is process of many combinations can be acquired only through hard practice...strength, stamina, breathing technique and body pulse control, diet, road surface, kind of bike, safety etc...which cant be taken and learnt unless we climb :)

...than see climbing becomes such fun and later we start loving climbs...we see a climb and say...Ya baby! i am coming to roll and swing my bike side by side over you...in the end climb becomes such friendly...

and to make that climb friendly we should attempt it...no matter if you can do it at a go or not...but go ahead...thats what u r doing..i remember u said about u r fear of climbs once...which surely must be vanishing from within now...keep her climbing up and keep going dude! and pls dont forget to buy a helmet ;) see ya soon..

your way...JHAKKKKAAAAAS! :)
