Hi, Good to find a group of cyclist around western suburbs. I too stay in Goregoan and hooked on the cycling for the last 2 years, although not frequent but like to do long streatches (30 Km and more) on week ends. I ride a Btwin rockrider 500. Would like to catchup with you guys soon over a ride.

Cheers, Sanjay

Hello all... I stay in Goregaon west and would like to catch up with you guys sometime soon. Taken up cycling recently after a long long time. Yet to buy a good helmet without which I feel scared to ride on the roads. Hope to buy that soon and join you guys on some of the rides.

Btw, who all are going for the BSA Cyclothon?

Hey, 22 April which is a national holiday on account of Good friday.... seems good day for inauguration... What say? Time no constraint but would prefer little late as getting early in the morning is little difficult... But I am open to suggestion.

I have been cycling to vile parle east domestic airport which has a flyover for good exercise. Also it is not crowded. Rather ideal for cycling. How about meeting at Hanuman road (Vile Parle East ) CCD (Cafe Coffee Day) at 5 pm. on Friday and then to ride at domestic airport??

This is my proposal. But as I have mentioned in my intro my area is till Goregaon, don't mind to meet near Arey coloney (which is also good for cycling). What's say mates??

completely agree Raajeev, 6 is a decent number if all members are present for the ride. 2 more members and we are ready to flag off the maiden ride.

Dear Jane, you are the first member of this group. Welcome aboard, I am waiting for more participants (say about 10) to join this group, post which we'll plan a ride. If you have any suggestions feel free to post.

Dear Nichiket, welcome aboard. There are no chinese walls in this group, even if you stayed in Churchgate you would still be welcomed. The idea to mention Andheri-Bhayandar was so that people wont mind attending early morning rides, which people staying far usually do. I appreciate your eagerness to join this group, we'll flag off our maiden ride soon. Till then please be around, also post any suggestion if you have.

I am based in Vile Parle East. Can cross the border any time. I have borrowed my friend's Hercules 18 geared bike. The bike is used very hard by him. Still the gears work good. I intend to buy one bike soon. But most of my short-listed models are out of stock. So I cannot buy new bike until 2 months it seems..

I have been cycling since last 2 weeks. I think I will continue it for long time. Don't mind cycling after hours - post 8 pm. But my area is till Goregon.
Hope to entre the maiden ride soon...

Regards,

Nachiket Marathe,
Vile Parle East. Mumbai
