Hi. I cycle every day in the Five Gardens - Matunga area in the mornings. This is a safe area to cycle although you must be careful about BEST and School buses that ply even early in the mornings. Always wear a helmet.  Be alert for speeding cars. Keep left and do not change lanes without being sure that there is no vehicle approaching from behind. When taking a right turn around any circle, keep left and do the circle in parts crossing one road after another looking for approaching vehicles from all sides. Going to the right lane around a circle is a blind spot for buses that are approaching very fast from behind and is very dangerous. Early mornings are the best time to cycle.
