a friend mehul is organising a ride populaire 100 kms on teh 8th of may from mumbai, to introduce new riders to long distance endurance riding. i plan to be there from pune for the ride and would be really happy to see more women get into this!

@UpasnaWe start at ten-the shorter rides are for about just over an hour.We decided to try and do a long ride every Friday.The nariman point one was spontaneously fixed on sunday at Arey-think you were there right?Log on to Carter road cyclists group-Faisal's the moving spirit behind these rides.
Am planning to ride on Friday morning alone for at least an hour and a half-not yet decided in which direction.Write in tomorrow if you might be interested in joining me.

Just last night , went on a wonderful night ride-Bandra to Nariman point and back.Six guys and THREE GIRLS!Have found a lot more enthusiasm for our night rides among ladies lately.Several nights the ratio is equal number of girls and guys.So just get out there and ride away gals, the more you talk about it especially to other girls, you'll be surprised how many are raring to go.
