"Bad idea. You'll have to convert the hub if you want something good. The lock-ring in a fixie is absent in MyBike (can't be added too). In a fixie, the lock ring/nut screws on to the interior of the hub, anticlock wise, to prevent the…"

Hi Aaron, Raleigh has upgraded its terrain 10 in India with 24 gears, zoom suspension with lockout, shimano disk brakes, frame sizes of 18.5 and 19.5. (http://www.suncrossbikes.com/bike_detail.php?bikeId=52&BikeCatId=2&Brands=12). Its retail price Rs 17.5 k in Chandigarh. I am 5'9'' tall. Earlier this cycle was out of supply, now launched in its modified form. 18.5 size more suitable for me? Many informed cyclists suggested against 19.5 size. What is your opinion on new bike?

Aaron we do appreciate your suggestions and are always open for a discussion on our bikes and also happy to know that people do like the Clubman series, but unfortunately Raleigh has discontinued the Clubman series in India.

Dear Aaron

I am 38 years old and want to start cycling. Currently I ride on my 8 years daughter's cycle in my locality for recreation. I want to purchase a new cycle for:

1. Commuting 2-3 days to my office (two way distance of 10 Km).

2. For commuting in city.

3. Occasionally (2-3 times every 6 months) for riding on well built hilly roads for around 50-60 km.

I intend to spend 15-16000. I have come across the following bikes available in my city Hoshiarpur:

1. Terrain 10 from Raleigh (Available for around Rs 15000). http://www.suncrossbikes.com/bike_detail.php?bikeId=52&BikeCatId=2&Brands=12

2. Level 1 (Alloy) sold by Suncross (Available for around Rs 12000). http://www.suncrossbikes.com/bike_detail.php?bikeId=72&BikeCatId=2&Brands=18.

Are these bikes worth purchasing? Which other bikes available in this category?

I am 5 ' 8'' tall, weigh around 60 kg. Length of my legs is around 31 inches. Can I ride a frame size of 19.5'' (Terrain 10 is available in this size only).
