Thanks Prabuddha, I have already adjusted the barends so that I have better reach. feels much better. Now all I need to do is get used to cycling again :) . Looking forward to meeting the gang sometime soon!! Will ride around for some time and then…

Hi. You don't need to change to a threadless set up to increase reach. Most commonly, the threadless stem is in two parts, the vertical section that fits inside the steerer tube of the fork, and the horizontal section that clamps on the vertical wit…

Hi there, So I finally went ahead and picked up the 105. First impressions are good. Though I would prefer some way for me to stretch a bit while cycling. Which brings me to the question. Is there anyone here who has been able to successfully conve…

Hey Prabhuddha... You sure are a ealry riser...(considering you are blogging at 0600 in IST). I just came back from my first ride of the 3700. It rides amazingly well... Lot of pain points..on my body, due to a ride after so many years.. Arrghh…

Hi Frank. If you ask me, I a complete road biker, but still the Thunder MTB is one of my favourite bikes. Mine has drop handlebars and slightly slimmer tires, but I like the stiff frame, which makes pedalling that much easier. In fact, I used to like my Hero Hawk a lot until I added slim tires to the Thunder.

Your height and weight will not be an issue. I am 5 10 (though a lot lighter than you, but that is not relevant) and saddle height and handlebar extension is fine for me.

All the best.
