Sanjay Van too crowded these days, my next option led me to the Aravalli

I consider Mehrauli Archaeological Park, in particular, Balban's Tomb, my own private grounds sometimes - the mornings are wintery now, and there is nothing better to reminisce as a large ruin just gazes past - in a pun.

It's India Cyclothon time in Delhi next Sunday (11 Sept 2011) and it's time for all committed cyclists to take to the streets.

I am taking part and am hoping to see you there. The entry fee is only Rs 300 and, as usual, there's a goody bag and a helmet for free.
