Hi Sagar, good to hear from u. I am not exactly disappointed with this site. Not yet. My objective of taking up cycling is entirely different. I have been putting on a bit lately. So to put a check to it a cycle a little bit. I usually take the cycle to do chores like going to the grocery shop etc. Not that I wudn't like to go on long rides, but I am still not sure whether I can actually make it.So whenever u plan to go on some long ride, let me know.
Firefox is a cool bike. whom are u buying it from? Someone I know? Dont keep me guessing. I will let u know if there r any buyers for ur thunder. Bye. Take care.
Hi, my Thunder was earlier with my brother. He had changed the existing V brakes to cantilever brakes. These work well. He had changed because of adjustment issues. However, there are people who are able to adjust their Thunder V brakes. Maybe these are different models. So, if you are sure yours are the problematic ones, you can consider replacing them. You may even get very powerful brakes from Firefox.
Hi Sagar. I live in Charkop. Kaushik who also lives in Charkop, and I are practising according to a bicycle training programme that Rajesh, also on this forum but living abroad, has forwarded to us. We have been on this programme for quite a few weeks now, and our riding is now beginning to look fast.
We have two routes that we ride regularly, one is Charkop-Bandra-Charkop, following the WE Highway, and the other is Charkop Thane Charkop, along Ghodbunder Road.
I am always keen on more people joining us on these rides.
Apart from these rides, we do have group rides every once in a while. Have you been to Borivali National Park? There is a nice trail fit for your ride.
