We all have a well of emotional wealth in us. But I think parents of special children carry seas within.  And only the fish swimming in those seas can know how they are somehow managing to swim ashore daily.

124th - Does he pray for the coconut trees to shed their wings, their palm leaves.

124th recipient of help (livelihood bicycle) :

 

“There could be someone, in this city, who prays daily, that the tall and mighty Coconut trees that dot our beautiful shoreline, shed their wings, their palm leaves, on us now and then.

Because, maybe those are the only days he or she comes across an opportunity and the possibility of earning his livelihood that one day.

I wonder, would someone like them be praying for ferocious winds, or for the Sun to blaze away…

His bicycle was stolen a few days ago. He roamed the streets a couple of days to test his luck, he was hopeful he may come across his stolen bike. His luck…

Cycle tour from Pune to Trivandrum.

On Monday(2-3-2015) spotted this group of cyclists in Guruvayur while on a solo tour of  South India. Stopped the eldest looking cyclist as the others rode along and had a brief conversation with 50 year old Cyclist Mr Anand.Ghatpande. They were a cycling hobby  group of 9 cyclists from Pune on a "Cycle Tour" of South India that began in Pune and was to end in Trivandrum.Here they are cycling through the town of "GURUVAYUR" in Kerala when i happened to see them…

Bicycle expedition to northeast

A group of 20 cyclists from the city completed the bicycle expedition, "Call of Bramhaputra,'from Imphal recently.  Yhe cyclists travelled through Manipur, Nagaland,  Assam and Meghalaya during their 11-day journey, which ended at Shillong.  The expedition was organized by Sarhad and Swanand organizations.
