In touch with a leading cycle mfg for bulk deal.

@ Mumbai : Hi !! Im talking to a leading Bicycle mfg to sort our issue of renting / outright buying cycles if they are willing to give us a steal deal. Do let me know how many of us would be interested so that we can do collective bargaining.

Eureka !! Guys , ul be surprised if you look around your neighborhood societies , there will be a dozen unused cycles ul find that are lying in their backyard . They'll be delighted if you offer to repair it for them in exchange for using it till 21st Feb . The cost for most repairs is peanuts. I'm doing it with people I know - Its working well. Try it out !! p.s In the meanwhile I;m still expecting their best offer.

Hi, I am planning to buy one for me. But I would need some guidance here. I want to buy a cycle which is simple and light and without gears.

Thx Nishant !! That seems to be a good input. The Thunder I guess is around 7K. Suggest we 1st ascertain no. of people and then ask hero for % discount. The models can be chosen by each one individually. Pl keep those threads coming in
Cheers!

Hero Razorback is a bad bike to ride. Just see the picture on hero website for yourself. Its just too heavy. If you want to really help people get bikes at good price then in single speed only the hero ranger with basic diamond frame fits the bill. Also the same bike is available at Kalbadevi around 3k. Then why go for heavy bike like Razorback...?? In geared bike Hero thunder is good. The rest all with dual suspensions are not needed at all.

Hi !! All Just spoke with the Hero guys. Their 1st price INR 2800 for Hero Razorback. I am awaiting their offer on the gear variants. The nos. right now are are too low to get them excited. Suggest if we keep networking with others we could build a critical mass and then talk again

Hi Rittesh, I intend to get one for myself too. Could you give us more specifics on the brand that you are negotiating with?
