My Goa business follow-up visit & my friend doing a Banglore - Goa ride to join me. March 19-21, 2010

Life can't be better than this. Work smart (not hard) & Play hard. I seem to getting more opportunities. The purpose of the Goa visit was to review progress at my Goa Factory, review electronic development work which is handled by my Banglore cyclist friend & offcourse visit my aged in laws.

My friend Chintamani left Banglore afternoon 4.30 on March 17, 2010 and entered Goa through south border at 10pm on March 20, 2010.

In the meantime I checked into beach side home at 2.00AM on March 19, 2010. As usual I was up by 05.45 & what else just start riding.

My Wheels

Unfortunatly it isn open only after 11.00 AM

Still Foggy Baga Beach

Where else but Tito's

Our Daily Bread

Still it is Foggy

I very clearly remember in the same fashion as in the below picture my father taught me cycling in 1973. Infact he took me to the fields since ground is soft so that I may not get hurt incase of a fall.

My choice is to head for Fort Aguada which is on the hill top.

Lent season is nearing end yet its way to the cross.

Awaiting a different kind of ride.

I know it is diffucult to spot 2 men doing something fishy in the water.

Without Geometry neither the boat nor cycle could be made.

Climb to fort Aguada

Seems like snowing in Goa even at 7.41 am

I could have my next conference here

The lighthouse & the Fort

Happy to land on my Merida

Downslope to Jail & entrance to the Prime private property

Jack of all fruits. My son is very upset as his grandmother had to chop of the tree in the backyard due to bathroom renovation

The sign says it all

Wrongly named. It should be named 'Republic Of Seafood'.

True to its name.

East meets west

Truely laidback

Finally some light

Living in the past.

The shack that I frequented.

Little bit of anxiety due to phone failure, late evening and as I was not sure of meeting point proposal. I had never gone beyond Palole Beach & for the first time that I travelled to Canacona. From here we decided to drive slowly and within couple of kilometers we spotted each other quite easily. The Man in the picture had clocked 578Kms

Buffet for my friend on my load body. It included White rice, Prown curry. Surmay & Prowns fry along with tandoory promfret. Ofcourse some liquids as in the picture

Finally all freshened up and ready for beer at 3.00am at Baga Beach

The Saturday Morning was bright and I recomended my friend to rest out & left for Anjuna Beach

The choice is still Anjuna Beach

There I am at my destination.

RHS view

LHS View

Bogunvilla on my another return route.

Still the sleepy town

Reaching at wrong hour.

Back at home and my friend awake n alive

After rest of the the day at the office and the dinner outing. Next day my friend was ready for Fort Aguada ride.

Yes some sweating it out.

All intact except the cannons

Sinkeri Beach

Ready to get down and ride along the beach

Ridable rocks

Anyway the Tee was wet and so it was time for me to get wet.We rode along the shore from Sinkeri to Baga beach with couple of deeps in between

All good things have to come to an end. My friend was ready to take the KSRTC bus to Banglore 6.00pm at Panjim bus standand & I had take review at the factory and drive back to Pune

A very memorable time.
