My bum is sore after a one hour cysling on my Firefox Target ..... any suggestions on how to reduce the same during and after cycling??

Thanks Satya ... that's exactly what I do and it does provide relief!! .. i guess you are right, it's a matter of practice too ....

even while riding a motor bike after a certain limit you feel uneasy. You have to get down and stretch. or bear the pain. Get up from time to time from the seat and ride for few meters that way in standing position. That allows blood circulation to that part of the body and the pain subsides.

Practice of long hours of riding will solve this problem to some extent. Shorts of a good quality do help.

Next time try gel seat cover, it is cushioned probably with Gel suits your seating posture, else shorts are also available those have again such cushion built in.Former costs 300 to 700 and later still costlier. I also had similar compliant before using bike,as I was thinking saddles are too small for my size but after riding I had no problem,seat design is really great, I think it was Bontrager made.

For current problem just relax,if needed use little oil,it will subside as it is.
