I am basically from Orissa, Working in Infosys Pune since Feb 2008.
How pune ppl ask me routes and places :) have seen lots of places around in a year :)
Not yet to Purandar... not in plan this season :).
And My records for a month will be... not sure but I used to do 1000+ when I started.
Weekdays around 30 km (office is around 15 km) and weekends around 100. so that's 250 km a week.
And I wont comment on octane modifications' effectiveness. I am like u, I do what I feel. and that's why I liked the modification because that's a brave move!

Hi I saw your comment on Rajesh Nair's page. The point here is that drop handlebar set up very low with high saddle is not a naturally comfortable position. Add to that aero bars, and that suggests a set up purely focussed on riding fast. Only when you are zipping along, are you comfortable with the saddle high and handlebars as low as yours.
But then you have suspension all around, which just can't let you pedal fast and efficiently enough. You also have fat tires.
The conclusion therefore is confusion. If you are enjoying riding this set up, that is perfectly fine with me, but you will get raised eyebrows and questions from many. :)
