"TnT Karvenagar? Is this the same shop in front of Alurkar's music run by a Sardar? Does he keep Merida's as well? No luck for me as yet....I need to at least test ride 7.2FX and Merida Speeder 100 before I take a call. Didn't get…"

"Good bike. This color is far better than the bright Red that I saw at TnT Baner. Where did you get the bike from Ashish?"

"Assuming that the shop guy knows how to do/provide a Professional bike fit, it may cost 400-1000 bucks. But, you can always do a basic bike fit (to be done yourself), in this at least you would know what your correct seat/saddle height is ,or how to…"

"I seem to be running into trouble w.r.t test rides. Over the past few days I spoke with Lifecycles, Pro Bike (Aundh & Prabhat Road branches) and no one had any test bikes from Merida Speeder 100 or Trek 7.2 FX. The only option seems to be the…"

"Yes Aaron I took test ride of Quick 5  . I felt it comfortable I took ride of medium and large frames. Both were comfortable to me but as per the inseam length large frame size was not appropriate for me in long run . My inseam lenght is…"

"Did you test ride the Q5? with a BASIC BIKE-FIT? If you aren't able to test ride the 7.2fx, you can go ahead and test ride the 7.1fx (I think they both have the same frame)."

"From your above details looks like Merida Speeder 100 > Cannondale Q5 > Trek 7.2 FX. Is that a fair way of looking at the 3 bikes?"

"Thanks Aaron. Saw the Cannondale Q5 at the TnT Baner showroom but didn't really fall for it. (Maybe it looked a little too frail for me. Maybe it's just in my mind but still....) The Trek 7.2 FX did look a bit better. How do Trek 7.2 FX…"

"Companies like Trek and Cannondale have their reputation on the line when they put their names on the bikes, so, yes the premium is justified in a way. In other words, this money is also going to their respective UCI-pro Teams. You can go for bikes…"

"I do not know if you have got a basic bike fit done on your current bike. Yes, in general, the Rockrider frames are a bit aggressive, but after regular use, one gets comfortable with it. There are a few bikes in the 30-36k budget, for some, I do…"

"I hope you know that I am referring to hybrid bikes and not MTB. In my opinion, hybrids under 24k are just useless pieces of metal as compared to something at 25-30k. - There are some brands that take a huge premium, like Trek and Cannondale. Hence,…"
